From NZ to the UK — Our Shave for Aunty Anna 🧡
Hi, we are Rachel and Meegan, and we are shaving our heads on Monday 11 August, 2025!
We’re joining a powerful movement of thousands across Aotearoa to raise funds and show support for Kiwis impacted by blood cancer — and we’re doing it in honour of someone very close to our hearts.
Our beautiful Aunty Anna, who lives in England, was recently diagnosed with AML (acute myeloid leukaemia). Her and our Uncle Murray used to live in New Zealand before moving to the UK six years ago with their three kids.
Being so far away, it’s hard feeling like there’s not much we can do from over here — but this felt like the perfect way to stand in solidarity with our whānau while also making a real difference for others going through the same thing.
