My 2026 Shave for a Cure why ❤️

Hello! For those of you who don't know me, I am Bess Cuddon-Corlet and I am an Residential Assistant (RA) at the Massey Halls Wellington Cube building for 2026 and this year we are taking part in shave for a cure!

Shave for a Cure is a movement for thousands to unite and raise funds to support Kiwis impacted by blood cancer. Its an event where people fundraise to cut their hair in order to make the biggest impact possible towards a cure for blood cancers because 

every dollar donators give helps power research and deliver crucial care and support for people living with blood cancer in New Zealand.

I’m doing this in honor of a close friend, Zoe Osgood who passed away from bone cancer in early 2023. With blonde curly hair, a beautiful smile and a love for the avengers, Zoe left a lasting impression on everyone that she met. 

I live with her memory everyday and this gives me the determination to share her story and her memory with as many people as I can because of how incredible she was. 

For this great cause I have been growing out my hair for two years and on the 16th of July I will be cutting and donating it for people that may need it… but this is where I need your help!!

If you donate to my page, you'll not only be  giving me a huge confidence boost as I get ready to make a big change with my hair, but you will be helping others around the country effected by cancer.
