Heads up! Here's why you should support my Shave for a Cure 🧡
I'm a first time shaver, and hair is a big part of my self image as a woman. Matter fact, I've had multiple people tell me that "I'm too young to do this and that it'll be hard to date without long hair" but personally, I know four people directly who have gone through/are going through some form of cancer and they didn't have the luxury of choice.
I wanted to truly show my support to anyone who is going through this while doing something that scares me.
By joining this movement of thousands to unite, shave, colour or donate their hair, you will help to raise funds to support Kiwis impacted by blood cancer.
Either way, I need your help! Will you please donate so my new hairdo can make the biggest impact possible towards a cure for blood cancers?
Every dollar you give helps power research and deliver crucial care and support for people living with blood cancer in New Zealand.
Your support is so important, because each day 8 people in New Zealand are diagnosed with blood cancer.
Every donation counts!
As an example:
For every $28 I raise, it can help provide information for families affected by blood cancer.
For every $55 I raise, it can help provide financial assistance to help patients get to the hospital for treatment.
For every $112 I raise, it can help ensure that people have access to support groups.
For every $200 I raise, it can go to support research to find a cure.
For evey $500 I raise, it can help connect young blood cancer patients to their classmates through Monkey in my chair.
Stand in solidarity by donating now. You'll also give me a huge confidence boost as I get ready to make a big change with my hair 🥰
Please give generously. 👉
