Nearly a year ago, I got a phone call that no one wants to receive. It was my younger sister bravely telling me that just moments beforehand, her doctors had diagnosed her with Leukaemia… It’s been a long and hard road for her. 11 months on, and she’s successfully kicking Leukaemia’s arse, thanks to a trial drug. I want to help find more effective treatments (like the one my sister is on) to save lives and make sure people with cancer get the support they need to get through.
