Get ready for the most significant haircut of your life!

Do it for someone you love. Do it for someone you’ve lost. Do it for the 8 people – young and old – diagnosed with blood cancer every single day in New Zealand.

Shave it

Your shave could be the most significant hair cut of your life. By fundraising you will support cancer patients. Shave at your school, work, or in the comfort of your own home.

Cut it

Not ready to go all off?  Cutting your hair can still make a big difference and untreated hair can also be donated to be made into wigs.  Cut at your local salon, school, work, or in the comfort of your own home.

Colour it

Adding some colour to your hair is not only fun but will have a serious impact on others . By fundraising you will support cancer patients. Choose your colour and check out our top tips for colouring in our resources.  Colour at home or your local salon.

Change lives

Shave, snip or colour your hair and raise funds to help power a cure.

Every day, 8 Kiwis are diagnosed with blood
cancers like leukaemia, lymphoma, or myeloma. They can hit anyone, at any age, out of the blue.

By shaving, cutting, or colouring your hair and fundraising, you’ll join a movement of thousands united to make sure no one ever has to face blood cancer alone.

Shave month is in March, but you can shave, cut or colour your hair anytime!

Money you raise will help power life-saving research and deliver crucial care and support for people with blood cancer in New Zealand.

Helena shaved her hair for her sister.

Nearly a year ago, I got a phone call that no one wants to receive. It was my younger sister bravely telling me that just moments beforehand, her doctors had diagnosed her with Leukaemia…
It’s been a long and hard road for her. 11 months on, and she’s successfully kicking Leukaemia’s arse, thanks to a trial drug. I want to help find more effective treatments (like the one my sister is on) to save lives and make sure people with cancer get the support they need to get through.
