For those who don't know my dad went through chemo therapy last year after being diagnosed with a rare type of cancer, Hairy Cell Leukaemia. He was lucky that this type of Leukaemia you only die with not from. However chemo provides its own challenges and he ended up in hospital and when through some dicey times. And for me I experienced feeling very helpless being away from him while I was studying at uni but also just knowing that even if I was there, there was nothing I could do. So this is part of my why. I couldn't do anything to help him at the time but this is my way of helping and showing support.
