Fundraising is still going on. I’m lucky because the hair dye will fade away, but blood cancer doesn’t! People gawk, star at me funny with this berry head, but I can’t imagine how people would look at me if I were sick. How they would treat you differently. It has been a wake up call. I have been “different” all my life, but colouring my hair so loud, the way people who don’t know me stare, made me feel more self conscious. Glad I did it! Helped me see through different eyes. P
