Welcome to the Rongotai College fundraising page. We as Rongotai men continuously punch above our weight in every aspect of school life, and our fundraising is no different.
Rongotai College annually has many men shaving their heads in order to raise much needed money for Leukaemia & blood cancer New Zealand, and this year, we intend to continue our tradition, and get as many boys involved as possible.
Many of us know someone who is affected by cancer, and this is why Shave for a Cure is such an important event at our school. It hits many of us in the feels, so we set ourselves high goals, in the hopes that we can do as much as we can for our friends, family, and community.
But we need your help to reach these goals. As said in the whakatauki, 'He iti te mokoroa, nāna I kati te kahikatea' - although the mokoroa is small, he can still cut down the kahikatea tree. Every single small donation goes towards something larger, and can help someone in a time when they are in need.
So, on behalf of all the RC men who will be shaving their heads, we'd like to say thank you very much for your donations.
