Big news 🙌 Cumby's joining Shave for a Cure by raising funds to support Kiwis impacted by blood cancer.
We will be shaving our heads on the 3rd of October 2025.
We raised $5,000 last year. This year we want to beat that. We are setting the bar high and aiming for $5,250.

Q: I want to participate on the shave day! What do I have to do?
A: First, hit the join now button above to register and join our team. On shave day, you can either shave all your hair or you can cut it to chin-height.
Q: How can I donate hair?
A: If you're looking to donate hair, it has to be untreated (no dyes or bleaches) and have to be at least 30cm in length. If you don't meet this requirement, that's all goods! You can still raise funds and join the effort.
Q: How do I fundraise?
A: However you like! A really good way to fundraise is to ask friends and whānau, posting on social media, or doing a challenge to get donations. Get creative!
Q: Can I choose who shaves my head?
A: Absolutely! You can choose whoever you'd like. Just make sure those who donated $20 or more have a chance to shave your head.
