Heads up! Here's why you should support my Shave for a Cure 🧡

Hi there! I'm joining the team at Massey Halls Wellington to unite and raise funds to support Kiwis impacted by blood cancer.

I'm a Residential Assistant, working as a staff member here. There are members of our team who have known people or have been directly touched by cancer and its consequences. As we met earlier this year and brainstormed on how we could use our power and influence to impact lives for the better, we thought of Shave for a Cure.

This is something I've always wanted to achieve because it's such a kind and powerful thing to do for others. I also have recently have been touched by cancer myself, as my dad, who means everything to me, was recently diagnosed with leukemia. I will be shaving my hair in honour of him, and to maybe comfort him too to show him know he's not alone.

8 people in New Zealand are diagnosed with blood cancer, every day. Any dollars you give will help power research and deliver crucial care and support for people living with or affected by blood cancer in Aotearoa, saving and supporting so many livelihoods. I'm proud to be a part of this initative for a cause that touches so many lives for the better. I hope you'll join me, with however much generosity and selflessness you can give. No amount is too little or too big. All the love.
