Why this matters to me
Sunday 18th May Each year in New Zealand around 1,100 people are diagnosed with lymphoma. In late 2022, one of those was my Dad.ÂHe received treatment and support in Hastings and spoke very highly of everyone involved in his treatment.
Unfortunately, late last year he becomes very unwell. His immune system was non-existent and therefore unable to fight off infections. Ultimately, his lungs failed.Â
I witnessed first hand how underfunded our health system is.Â
Hopefully by raising some funds, it can go even just a small way to helping others who suffer from lymphoma in New Zealand.Â
