Shaving my head is something I thought I would never do, but I decided to take on the challenge for a reason that means a lot to me. I've had a few people in my life who have been taken away from me by illnesses, like my cousin Raphael or my auntie/tita Sik. Cancer sucks. It impacts good people and the people around them. Shave for a Cure helps people in more ways than you could ever know, and by helping, you can support people affected by cancer. Even though shaving my hair is only a small thing, I wanted to do something that could make a difference. This is my story of why I decided to step out of my comfort zone, cut off my hair, and use it as a way to show my support for those going through something much bigger.
