Hey everyone! I’m excited to tell you that I will be participating in the Shave for a Cure event in a couple weeks time, and I will be shaving my hair in support of New Zealanders with blood cancer.
All the money raised goes towards supporting some really special work, and some really brave, strong, and lovely people. These people have certainly given light to your life, so why not give something back?
And yes, my big curly hair will be gone for a bit, so I am sorry to those that appreciate it. But I think you’ll find that you don’t actually have to worry, you’ll survive seeing a smooth head as opposed to a curly one, I’m certain.
After all, hair grows back, baldness is temporary, and any improvement to someone’s day is 100% worth it– it's a win-win situation really!
