The reason I am shaving my head.
My name is Jude Fifield. My grandmothers name was Christine Hall. I can't quite remember when she was first diagnosed with lukimia but I know she had cancer for a few years before she died. At the start of 2026 Nanny was told she had 5-10 weeks to live, then six months later she was given two weeks to live, and then finally one month later she passed away peacefully in her sleep. Nanny had lived with me and my Mum for the majority of my life and had been living with us for a while when she died so I was pretty close to her when she passed. For the last few months of her life she was being treated for her pain by Mary Potter Hospice, I am thankful to them for taking such good care of my Nanny. The reason I am shaving my head is so more people like her are able to get the care and comfort they deserve and so more research and development goes into cancer treatment. I would also like to thank all of the people who have already donated to this cause. Thank you very much.
