In support of Papamoa College & Shave for a Cure!
Papamoa College community are getting behind an incredible cause with a Takitimu Waka fundraiser.
Student leaders are taking part in Shave for a Cure to raise money and awareness for New Zealanders affected by blood cancer.
They’ve each set fundraising goals, with selected students bravely agreeing to shave their heads once their targets are reached.
Every dollar raised goes towards vital research and support for Kiwis living with blood cancer — with 8 people diagnosed every single day in NZ this is something we should all be supporting.
In support of the Takitimu Waka, which my daughters are proudly part of, I want to help the students reach their goals.
To add a little extra motivation… I’m officially throwing my hat into the ring & will shave my head as a proud College Board member!

Between friends, family and work colleagues, Papamoa College have now raised an incredible $3,668 for Shave for a Cure.
It’s been amazing to see our community getting behind such an awesome group of kids from Papamoa College and such an important cause supporting Kiwis affected by blood cancer.
